Feature Guide
Member Lens Voting
Vote on the lenses you want us to test next. Submit requests, track progress, and shape the CineTraits testing queue with the community.
What Is the Members Hub?
The Members Hub is CineTraits' community-driven space where members can request specific lenses for testing, vote on existing requests, and track our testing progress in real time. The lenses with the most votes rise to the top and directly influence what we test next — your voice genuinely shapes the platform.

How Voting Works
Browse existing requests on the Lab Board and click the vote button on any lens you want us to prioritise. Each user gets one vote per request. The most voted items are surfaced at the top of the board so we can see community demand at a glance. You can vote on as many different requests as you like — there's no limit on the total number of votes you cast, only one per individual request.
Cooke Speed Panchro 75mm
Canon K35 24mm
Helios 44-2 58mm
Lomo Round Front 50mm
Submitting a Request
Can't find the lens you're looking for? Submit a new request with the lens name, manufacturer, and category (Lens, Filtration, or Optical Adapter). Add a description to help others understand why it's worth testing. Once submitted, the community can vote on it immediately. Duplicate requests are merged so votes aren't split across identical items.

Tracking Progress
Every request has a live status — Open, Acknowledged, In Progress, or Completed. When we pick up a lens for testing, the status updates automatically. You can filter the board by status to see what's currently being worked on, what's been completed, and what's still waiting. Check the Lab Updates section in the Hub for detailed changelogs on newly tested lenses.

Priority Requests & Admin Picks
Some requests are flagged as Priority by our team — these are lenses we've identified as particularly important based on community demand, manufacturer partnerships, or gaps in our database. Priority requests appear at the top of the board with a special badge. Admins can also leave comments on any request to share updates or ask for more information.

Comments & Discussion
Each request has its own comment thread where members can discuss why a lens should be prioritised, share experiences, or ask questions. Admins respond directly in these threads to provide testing updates and timelines. This creates a transparent dialogue between the community and the testing team.
